The Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July Committee would like to welcome you to Brockway's 51st Annual Celebration. It is the Committee's desire to make this a fun filled and memorable day for you and your family in Brockway.

The Committee has been hard at work since last year's Celebration to bring family oriented programs to you. Along with the annual patriotic program, Star Spangled bicycle race, children's fishing contest, 10K race, antique car show, parade and fireworks taking place as in the past, we have also been working on a variety of entertainment as well as educational programs to include in this year's celebration.

Also, make sure you visit the Taylor Memorial Museum to see a slice of Brockway's history, the art show to see local artists showcase their works, the craft show to see and take home some homemade crafts and a visit to the Concession area for some good old fashioned summer time food.

A new feature this year is in promoting our annual event by moving away from a booklet format to a more user friendly brochure. The booklet has become an extremely time consuming and expensive project taking up a large portion of the budget. The Committee felt it more prudent to use your contributions for programs, entertainment, parade, fireworks, etc. and to utilize our website to share and highlight the information previously contained in the booklet and much more. Additionally, information on the website is updated until the event where as the booklet was only up until May. Photographs of the many events are then added to the website following the Celebration. Please pick up one of the new brochures at many of the local businesses who have graciously donated to make this event happen.

The Committee looks forward to 2018 and welcomes suggestions to make each Celebration better than the last. Monthly meetings are held the fourth Monday of every month at 3 Sigma on Clay Plant Road. If you have an idea or program you would like to pursue, please stop by to discuss it.

Once again, on behalf of the 51st Annual Committee, thank you for your support and participation in the area's largest non-carnival Independence Day Celebration.
