Miss Brockway 4th of July Queen 2017

Miss Brockway 2017, Grace HeplerThe Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July Committee is proud to announce Miss Grace Hepler as the 2017 Miss Brockway 4th of July Queen. Grace is no stranger to the community. She is an honor student of the Brockway Area High School Class of 2017. She proudly graduated within the top 10 of her class with honor distinction, involved in the AIM gifted program, a Dale Carnegie Student Graduate and also was vice president of the Student Council. Grace was involved in many activities such as ski club, art club, chemistry club, Model UN, and the drama club. She was also active in sports belonging to the volleyball and golf teams.

What makes Grace a fantastic representative to the Brockway Community is her warmth, her amazing personality and the pleasant disposition she exhibits. She is known as a very kind and sincere young lady with a bright future. Many recognize her bubbly personality and how she is very delightful to be around. She has been very helpful in many community endeavors, and involved with her parents in volunteering. In the community, Miss Grace Hepler has volunteered for Camp Confidence, as a Special Olympics Hugger, has been a Salvation Army bell ringer, and volunteered for community trash clean up and in the area nursing homes for holiday visiting and caroling.

Miss Hepler also has an incredible artistic talent. In both 2015 and 2016, she took first place in her division at the Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July Art Show. She also recaps her memories of the Brockway Old Fashioned 4th of July celebration as one of her most memorable and meaningful holidays shared with family, friends and neighbors. Miss Hepler is proud to represent the Brockway Community and be an excellent role model for the youth of the area.

Grace Hepler’s future plans involve attending Penn State University seeking a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree. Grace is the 18 year old daughter of Michael and Angel Hepler and has worked both part time at Subway and her family’s business, Hepler’s Country Store.

Miss Grace Hepler will be making appearances throughout the area during the Old Fashioned 4th of July events, but will most certainly be highlighted during the Patriotic Celebration on July 4th at The Theater in the Park at 10:30 AM. She will also be spotlight to the Parade at 6:00 PM.
